insurance for 91 RS

hi. can anyone recommend me a good insurance company in the tristate area (NY, NJ, CT). It seems all the companies I've tried so far dont insure camaros(wtf is their problem anyway).

btw I'm 18, and i have no previous insurance history, i've had my license for over a year and have no violations or accidents.

Thanks,
Alec

If you live in NJ, try NJCure. Geico also covers all three states.

You may also want to look at GMAC auto insruance. They were cheaper than Gieco, progressive, and state farm. It is worth a look and a free quote.

would classic car insurance companies cover these types of cars?? If you dont drive it often then it seems like a waste to fully insure and pay a rediculous price on insurance.

There are a lot of restrictions on that type of insurance.

Yea but it is so much cheaper if you are going to keep it in a garage and under i think 5000 miles on a 1981 corvette my father had it was about $90 a year.

Also...most companies say you can't drive the car to and from work, sometimes it's only on weekend, etc.

hmmm....

Yeah, I just moved back to CT from Michigan with my 87 T/A. I'm also looking for a cheap yet good or decent ins. company. Right now I'm looking at Unitrin, but my rents have GMAC on their other cars, and my sister has state farm, and says thats good.

Really, I'm looking for an unbiased opinion.
Thanks!
