I used to live there and still have family there. I was back in Binghamton a couple of weeks ago to attend my cousin's funeral. While I was there, I saw a couple of nice thirdgen's running arround (black IROC) and green firebird. Just wondering if anyone from that area posts here.

I live in Newark Valley (near Owego), 30 mins from Binghamton. Actually, I just picked up a red 5-speed 1986 IROC-Z Camaro with a 350 in it and new Dynomax exhaust. I'll be posting up some pictures soon.

I also live in Newark Valley, about 25 min from Bingo. I have had a few Camaros. I now have a 85 Z28 HO with a 383 bolted to a T5. It is Two tone silver with a 2" cowl Hood and a 92 RS rear spoiler. I have changed just about everything on the car. Edelbrock stut brace, pan hard bar, and torque arm bar. Lakewook rear trailing arms, and competition engineering sub frame connectors. Cam, heads, intake, and carb all Edelbrock. Headman shorty headers with y-pipe, 3" dynomax mid pipe, Flow master muffler with 2 3" tips. I am looking for a rear axle ***. dru

Newark NY, halfway between syracuse and rochester. Not much for cars in my town except for my buddies and I, most of them drive rustangs...yuck
I live over in Marion, I see a lot of shitstangs too, annoys the hell out of me. I'm in newark all the time, I will look around for ya. I drive my camaro daily, catch my eye if you see me. I am open to helping a fellow third gen owner if you need me. I am jobless at the moment so it would be something to do.
I'm in Bing-o-land once or twice a year visiting family, but I fly up. I went to Ithaca for the first time last year, went to the falls. Pretty nice up there!
geeze this thread is dead. I know there are more thirdgens than this in the area. I run a 86 Iroc z (red atm) with a 355. I usually am at the Regal show and the barns and noble show. Other than that I am always cruising around.
Okay, so I was on my way to work, when a black iroc rolled up and we pretty much did speed runs all the way down airport road. Was it any of us? I have to say that made my morning lol
i know this post is from a while back but im in the bing - endicott area.
i havent had a camaro in quite a while , but for some reason ive gotten the itch for another iroc..
like another post said i think times have changed in the last 10 years.
anyone remember when the spot was home depot parking lot? or the parking ramp?
drag racing on the front stretch of owego speedway(or whatever it was called back then)?
good times went through a lot of tires and gas
To anyone that got hit in the flood, I wish you the best of luck. And if ya need help working on stuff, let me know, I'd be willing to help a fellow thirdgener. Luckily, I live at the top of the big hill so I lost nothing.
Blood, I live on Riverside Drive. I got the car to higher ground, but got 4 feet of sewage in my basement. I think I have seen you quite often at the Barnes and Noble show. I go to Skyview quite frequently, too. Check out my sig and let me know if you recognize the car.
Actually, Im not sure I have seen your car. Do be honest I dont go to barns and noble as much as I'd like. Havent gone in a few weeks actually. My car isnt really at the "show" stage... It needs a lot of time and money, which as most I am lacking the later. Checked out your car tho, sick by the looks of it. Gotta love 86's.
