Ever wonder..what happen to that car? Here's one from this board u may remember
I don't post here regularly, but after tracing the lineage of my car back 3 owners on this forum, and seeing the outpooring of interest and help provided to this car from previous owner BULL, i'd figure i'd let the f/body community know this rare bird did not die in vain, but rather this phoenix rose for the ashes and on its way back! Below is the link to one of the more funny posts about the legality and originality of this car, being it IS an L98 ttop cc1 optioned car from 1992......

What made me buy this car was the rare factor...i'm no stranger to thirdgens, having owned 4 in the past ('84 L69, '89 iroc, currently '91 vert along w/this piece of Americana). My 2 oldest 3rd gens even made it into chp readers rides section back when i was in High School...a little claim to fame for myself but thats between me and the groupies. Onto brass tacks, this car was picked up July 4th 2011 (a bit of an undertone there???...i dunno) but this thing was officially reborn on our Independence Day. What i got was a vehicle that needed its fair share of body and mechanical work but had a solid base and just like MLK, i had a dream too! The vehicle got the dents, dings, rust repair (minor) taken care of, ronals sourced, mechanical components fixed (still have a few left), slp tidbits found and the process is continuing.....
When bought...the nice crease in the door quarter....
After the paint, a 1992 firehawk tribute car in the works....
...and the only pic i have of the twins together..before the 'bird was painted
I hopefully will be tackling the original slp single exit split exhaust this weekend.
