Well it doesn't look like my tranny will be here in time. I'll go out there but with out the tranny I'll just watch and maybe bring my trailer just in case someone breaks.

Dwayne,

Did you end up going with the TKO Performance upgrade for your T-5, or are you having a T56 built?

I went with a G-force t-5 upgrade. It will have a stronger mainshaft, larger gears, bronze forks, shift stops and a counter gear stabilizer(main problem with t-5's). Out the door it cost the same as a TKO or T-56 and weighs a lot less. G-force has 1/2 the Nascar tranny business and that's why they are backlogged. At least that's the story I got. The tranny is rated at 600 foot #'s and should do just fine for me. I hope.

Dwayne: Thanks for the link to Famoso, I had an old link from 2 years ago that now goes nowhere. Looks like NO test/tunes in Mar or Apr!!!!
I'm going to shoot for 14th 15th Feb. I need to get 10 gals 110 octane somewhere soon. My son's birthday is the 8th and my daughter is coming to stay with me on the 8th for 5 days so its going to be a little tight.

I found 108 octane unleaded fuel.
Got a question, does anyone know if this fuel will burn more slowly like high octane leaded fuel. My concern is, if the 108 oct. unleaded fuel still can cause pre-detination (ignites too quick), which won't solve my ignition timing problem.
My largest lose of HP is due to the knock sensor retarding 7-8 degrees at WOT, which drops my overall timing to 28-29 degrees.
