Whats everyone's plans?
okay guys, what have you got planned/ or thinking about doing to your thirdgen this spring/summer coming up? Hopefully all of us can get our cars worked out to have a good meet in the near future. If anyone has any pictures, i would like to see your cars(i still haven't seen eric's).
I'll go first.
- Install my carpet (ordered-129.00)
- Install Catco cat (installed)
- New plug wires (installed-7mm)
- Horn button kit
- shift kit
- fix driver side door lock
2 pics of my 85 camaro purchased for 1800. came with 350 tpi rebuilt swapped in, and 3.23 gears. interesting 2 tone paint.

nope quite the opposite but I have high hopes and an extra car that I will most likely sell and a b-day coming up in march plus I'll be doing about 90% of the labor my self and buying parts at a time like I have rods already and the C5 brackets and will be ordering some slotted/crossdrill rotors in the coming weeks I hope to have everything completed by the end of the summer

that sounds awesome terrell, that's cool you have the knowledge to complete projects like those. I read so many threads trying to gain know how and facts about these cars and I still wouldn't be comfortable attempting anything big.

Well,if it sells I'll just be buying an iroc or a 91-92 z28 so I can still use all the same stuff. If it doesn't sell by the time I get everything then I'll keep it.

wow, it seems like most of everyone are going to have 11 second thirdgens, I guess I'll be the only slow person left. Installing my carpet and if travis and I swap rear hatches that will be quite a project for me, yet it's nothing compared to what everyone else is doing.

I will be slow with you I have some minor mods done, but I dont want to do anything big until I get rid of my lg4. Nice car though I like the color scheme. Some plans I have are to install my bowtie grill/foglights, valve covers, 1.6 rocker arms, and carb spacer. Thats basically it for right now. Sometime this week I might take my car to a shop to have them re-install my dizzy. Im not sure if its in the right position since my car is lacking some power Here is a pic of my car.

Mike your car looks very clean, I always do like black thirdgens. Have you taken it to the track. Del, my 88 iroc started developing alot of problems with the feul system and I ultimately had it donated because of personal/family financial reasons. I hope this car serves as a good project car, as though it has it flaws, that's part of the reason for getting a cheap thirdgen, to learn.
thanks for sharing everyone.

I know it would be a good idea to get this 20 year old paintjob repainted, but from what I've read an okay paint job cost like 400 dollars, I'd really have to save.
