sweet oldschool kill tonight
creeping up to the stoplight to turn on the highway after work tonight i pull up behind a 4.6 GT mustang, i saw it was some kid in there so i had a good idea he was going to want to play. so i left it in first gear, when the light turned green, and we turned onto the on ramp, i left it in first and had it around 3.5k when we got straightened out, he floored it, and i hit second and spun a ton then when it grabbed i reeled him in real quick.
before we even hit the highway i got right on his *** and then when the moment was there, i whipped it over to the fast lane and got right next to him still cruising 2nd gear around 4k, and when he nailed it again so did i and i left him like no tomorrow. it was way sweet. stupid mustangs!

sorry i was refering to the old camaro vs mustang challenge.
i thought they were more like 280hp?
man those mustangs are so fawking slow what the hell is wrong with them and why do kids like them so much and claim they are fast??
ive probably got a good 200hp on them then! haha!

The 99+ newer body styles upgraded to 260's, the GT's.
I'd like to see how you fare against the '03+ Cobras.
I was next to a mean sounding one with a couple kids in it last weekend.
Definitely had mods/tuning to well over 400hp I'm sure.

i have a hard time justifying spending $3500 on a nice kit.
i'd have to wait to get one for a deal.
i thought you intended on nitrous, hense the forged internals.

holy crap you have a car payment on that thing travis??
mustangs were 225 hp for 94-97, 98 had 240, 99-04 had 260. Thats for the SOHC 4.6L GT. After spending alot of time on mustang forums (research...) it appears that a full bolt-on and dyno tuned 99-04 GT can make about 270 RWHP.

The lady that bought my t/a just bought an 02 gt yesterday as a daily driver and she's dumping money into the t/a.That gt sounds freaking amazing!I love the way they look and sound but the ls1 would be my overall choice.

mustangs were 225 hp for 94-97,
96-97 got the 4.6 and 225, still gutless.
That's why I put 215-225.
Mustangs always sound nice though, I'll give them that.
Always hard to tell if they're heavily mod'd, or just exhaust, hah.
Brodix heads, doesn't Mike have those?

and jesse, the only problem with thos awesome heads is usually they carry extremely small chambers like 49cc. thats way too much compression!

mike has wierd first generation brodix heads. They're like the first casting brodix came out with. They flow near 240 cfm @ .500 iirc.
