Reputable Contra Costa Trans Shops???
I'm looking to get my 700r4 in the z rebuilt and was just wondering if anyone knows any reputable shops in the Concord/Antioch east bay region. I have talked to a few shops locally (Antioch) and it seems like most of them just plain suck.
Out of all the shops I have talked to, it seems like Delta Trans in Antioch knows whats up, as i have talked to the owner on several occassions, and he's a very nice and knowledgeable guy.
Anyone have any experience with other good shops?
Thanks

Here's a tip of the hat to J&R Transmissions in El Cerrito.
Right off 80 - by the old Marchant's Speed Shop and Mel & Son's Muffler.

I would go with delta transmission. The shops right down the street from my house and I had some tranny work there done a couple years ago. They do good work.
