Took my 91' to a car show yesterday, got ALOT of compliments/ looks !
I figured since I had not entered my Camaro in a car show in probably 14 years or so, it was time... I think the thirdgen folks would be happy to hear all of the good compliments and looks my car got. When I showed this thing back in the early 90's, most folks would just walk by without even giving it a look, some would make wise cracks about the "third gen sterotype" etc... Not so anymore !! MANY photos were taken by all differant age groups, made me feel pretty good
I pulled the wheels off of my 57' chevy for the weekend, actually think they look good, but a 20" is too big for the rear in my opinion. None the less, it was a good day !

It's really nice to see one finished and looking **** perfect. I set mine aside for the past year and am about ready to get it put finally back together. Your color of Blue gives it an elegant glow, rather than 'flash' and is really close to what I have picked out to go with silverandorange stripping after it's done, shaken down, and ready for a color change.
I think it won't be much longer before the stereotypes have all destroyed theirs and most of what's left will be the ones we've spent years purrfecting and making better than the factory ever dreamed was possible.

Very clean and looks great! I know you're a busy guy and I can't find the answer on TMZ... do you do all of the detail work yourself or do you farm it out to a good shop? Thanks

Really nice looking car. I can tell you put some time into it and it really paided off. I see you on the central coast in CA. Are you planning to show your car at the Mother's Race and Rod Nationals next weekend at Laguna Seca? I'll be there with Camaros Limited Nor-Cal car club showing my 92 Z28 vert. It would be nice to check out your car in more detail. Again, great looking ride.

Re: Took my 91' to a car show yesterday, got ALOT of compliments/ looks !
I can tell you that the cork screw at Laguna Seca is just flat out awesome. When you drop into the turn and pull out the other end it really gets your heart pumping. They told us the parade lap would be about 25mph for the first lap and a little faster for the 2nd lap. All I know is we were jamming around the track from the get go. I hit over 90 just keeping up with my buddies 73 Z28. The pic below is me going into turn 2 and I had a smile on my face the whole time I was onthe track. I'll be back next year as it was a great time and worth the $35 show fee. Hope to see you out there next year. You won't be disappointed.
