Re: DMV question
It's DMV -- YOU WILL PAY!!!! ...one way or another
(read: welcome to Kommiefornia $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$)
I believe it is 5+ years to fall out of DMV's system and if you do not have a PNO slip in your hand, the car has been collecting fees.
You can check fees online:
You're welcome

Re: DMV question
If the title is dated over 60 days ago, yes there will be fees. Simple way to avoid it is to just get the title switched over to your name with in 60 days, no inspection(if bought in same state you are registering) or insurance should be needed. I just did that on the 91 I bought cost under $23 and had been unregistered for 3 years. If its already in your name there should be no fee my 92 has been registered off and on several times with out fees. But as always check you local blood suckers, just call the dmv and ask. This is in both Nv and Ma.

Re: DMV question
and for better or worse where i live in nevada there are no safty or emissions test!! i don't agree with the safty as i have to share these roads with people who think duck tape can hold a hood and fenders on and can also hold air in a tire.

Please don't bring misinformation from free states and their DMV's in here, you probably don't have to wait for hours to get service in your DMV either..
