should i give up on my anti t-top mission? I loath t-tops for the problems they cause and the fact that they make the car look incomplete, but there are some nice ones out there and they are considered a luxury to some... I just want a car. lol.

EDIT: So I called the guy about the convertible. "Needs engine work" means I need to do a pressure check cause it's only running on 7 cyl. How hard is this to fix? Is it worth 3500? This is my car first purchase as I'm a young'n so help me out please =D.

Here's a drop top IROC my friend checked out last weekend in San Jose.

1990 Red IROC-Z28 w/ Black top
169K miles, with new 350 Eng installed at 89K miles. Smog legal headers installed at same time. Also Hyper chip in computer. New exhaust with cross flow type Flow Master. Runs smooth and strong!
New factory top in great condition. Seats reupholstered with two tone, black and red. Wheels also painted red between spokes. New aggressive sport tread-ed tires all the way around. Body is pretty good, with just a couple very small dings. Paint OK, but clear coat is starting to peel, so needs some TLC.
A huge stereo with 2 amps & 12" sub-woofer in trunk. Car alarm installed for obvious reason above!
