Race N Rods 9/8/12 @ Laguna Seca

Just wanted to keep this fresh in everyone's minds. This is a killer event, and if you make a drive out to the coast for an automotive event, this is the one you don't want to miss.

Saturday September 8th 2012 4th Annual Mother's Polish Race N Rods @ Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway
http://www.mazdaraceway.com/press-re...sented-mothers

This is an absolute MUST attend event guys. You won't have a better time for 35 bucks and a tank of gas. They let you on the track for a parade lap and being in the middle of the paddock during the Continental Grand Am racing is badass. I am going to register asap, even though it's quite a bit later in the year this year. I would also like to get a healthy thirdgen presence out there and would rather roll with Norcal Thirdgen than tag along with another club. Lets make this happen, if we get enough cars, lets say 15-20, we stand to win the participation award for the club, and that would be a sweet honor, not to mention the various awards and prizes they give away all day.

Last year Megan and I stayed in Monterey, we were able to get accommodations relatively inexpensively. So that is also an option for you guys. Drive down Saturday, make a day out of it, and then hang out in Monterey, relax, and drive home at your pace on Sunday.

Will

Re: Race N Rods 9/8/12 @ Laguna Seca

I definitely regret missing this one last year. I usually volunteer at the air show every year here that weekend, but if my GTA is drive-able, I may change course.

Del, you won't regret going this year. When you prereg, you get two admission passes, t shirt, bag of mothers supplies, and some other cool stuff for less than the price of a single admission. It's well worth it, and a day full of stuff to do. Megan came home with over $100.00 in Mother's car care products. She had two winning raffle tickets!

Good stuff Joey. When you send in your registration, be sure to write Norcal Thirdgen on there somewhere, so they know we are a group. This should help us get into the event together.

Re: Race N Rods 9/8/12 @ Laguna Seca

I plan on going again this year. I've attended the last two years and always have a great time. Can't beat the price for day a the races and the opportunity to put you car on the track and through the cork screw. Like NorCalZ28 said.. This is a killer event.

I know we've got a lot going on in this forum, but I want to keep this event fresh in everyone's minds. If we get a good group we can head someplace for dinner afterwards!
