Track Times
Well been away from the board for a while. Alot is going on with the shop and family.
Since last august we sj!tcanned the mild steel cage for a chrome moly cage, its even certified to 8.5s.
We replaced the homemade subframe connectors w/ chrome moly copies of BMR or Spohn, i forget.
Added a Simpson chute for anything over 150mph, since we'll be hitting it with 2 stages for a total of 350 shot.
Practically gave the Accel Gen 7 away, and just got finished rewireing the entire car & adding the FAST XFI 2.0. Now we can datalog accuratley.
Added Alston's Chassisworks, Varishock double adjustable coilovers to the rear, and weighed all 4 corners of the car, to get it dailed in.
Went out tonight (wed nite) and made a couple passes, spit and sputtered at about 7000, so still need to dial in the tune. I think we might have had a couple bad plugs that were used last year.
Anyway, even with the spitting & sputtering we still managed a 10.75 @ 125, on the motor.
Going back out saturday to dail it in for the race in Sonoma Sunday.
Chow for now, see ya at the track soon.
