Car: 1988 IROC 5.7 Money Pit
Engine: (being built; modified TPI ZZ4
Transmission: 2200 stall/ stage 3 700R4
Axle/Gears: freshened 3.27 in 9.bolt/
Califoria State Title Question for IROC cars
I was looking at my California Title to my IROC 1988, two owner car, and suddenly noticed that it was marked down as a Camaro RS.
I'm in the process of upgrading all my collector cars for full coverage.
Can some of you who own IROC's take a look at your title and let me know what the State labeled yours AS???? Thanks: Nitro-Nicky

VIN eighth digit is 8. (5.7 iroc)

My title doesn't even recognize that it's a Camaro...
It isn't written/typed anywhere.

Anybody else with an IROC have a printout on there California Title stating what model it might be? Just trying to figure out why or if it's even important for someday proving it's value..... Nitro

The VIN # and RPO codes should be more than enough to prove the vehicles value.

My pink that I just got says 1989 under year model.... and then Chev and 2D......
It was inspected at AAA as it came from Oregon..... and I was surprised that the title shows the milage as 46210.... which is correct, but on a car this old I didn't think they would include it.
It probably could have had a model put down if it was in the paper work.
But like mentioned above the vin tells the true story.....
