ColoradoF-body.com is putting on a race in Douglas, Wyoming called the "BFE SHootout". It is open to all registered racers (register and pay by 12-31-04!!!). Some of you in Denver may not like the idea of driving that far, but every weekend during the regular season Colorado participents drive from as far away as Colorado Springs to race there.

The Northern Colorado Racers Assoc. has a yearly event there as well.

The altitude is slightly lower than Bandemere, and none of the assembly line style snide and snooty "I really don't want to be here" kind of attitude you get from Bandemere employees. The track is more sportsman oriented than Bandemere as well as a more big family type of atmosphere.

Also ALL of the pit area is paved not just part of it. The race is next Aug 27-28 (sat-sun) in 2005.

Sounds like fun I think I'll sign up, is it f-body specific or all make and model. Either way I think 57kid should get in on it as well. and anyone else here in Denver who loves racing.

Just curious, you say you have to register by 12-31-04, but the link you posted says 03-31-05?
