Kearney would be a reasonable destination for me, close to where my mom & brother live. I thought they had that event the same weekend as the Mile High Nationals in the past, maybe just a coincidence. But, I'll probably be racing here that weekend, anyway.

Yeah that Kearney cruise night is not TOO far. Post up a couple weeks in advance if you might be going out to this one!

Just a reminder World of Wheels this weekend at Omaha. I heard the original KITT might be there or the new Mustang KITT. I don't know, some guy at work was trying to tell me that.

Any info on the Creston Rod Run? Like what towns they are stopping at or even the meeting point? Gotta get my car out of storage and get her ready for this one.

Last year I didn't know what towns they were going to until the day of the event. You could ask at the forums on their website, if they still have them. But yeah, last year it was like a big secret.

I went over and checked out the forums and it looks like they havent been active since early 2008 / late 2007. I even tried to email someone so we will see. So thanks for your info Firebat. If anyone here finds out anytihng I would apperciate it if they would let me know. And i will do the same.

Still haven't heard any news from my friends in that area. Really piss-pour organization of this event as always but always has a lot of cars.

These towns have been included in the past, only some of them will be included this year:
Creston, Columbus, Duncan, Monroe, Schuyler, Genoa, Silver Creek, maybe Richland, maybe Humphrey, maybe Fullerton.

Well I'll be at Kearney cruise night saturday if all goes well. Anybody else planning on making it up that way? I'll be taking the Z28 on up there if all goes well *fingers crossed* and I can finish getting it with a conservative tune.

There is the Hot Summer Nites Rod Run its August 8th and 9th in Norfolk its at Diviots and its $5 dollar admission. There is a cruise night on the saturday night just letting people know in case anyone can come

Im going to put my IROC in the Hot Summer Nights car show. As much as I dont want to, but I got a few people telling me I should put it in so I figured why not. So if anyone goes mine will be the black and gold IROC. ( The one that looks like it shouldnt be at the show ) lol
