After thoughts: X-mas dinner

So where do we go from here now?

-We should do this more often like once a month. It seems we need to do things that are "low budget" like meeting up somewhere to have a cookout....meeting up at resturants can get costly. (trust me, I have low funding available for "fine dining" all the time)

-So in reality, how many people are realy going to put money down for the track??? I'll have money to throw in this up-coming weekend....

-Who agrees that Jeremy has too many cars??? He needs to do us all a favor and just sell that 91 GTA to me....

Well if everyone does not know I was the guy who came late. I got out of work at 7:20 and work in Tinley Park, but glad as hell that I came. Well I just wish I did not get out of work when I did, so I could of talked you all of you. But defiantly I want to get something together very soon; I still had a bunch of fun. Oh and just to let you all know, I payed $14 for a $9 meal and drink.

To bad it is winter, otherwise we all could of cruised around for a bit.

Tims suggestion is the a very good one.

Old Country Buffet. Seperate bills, $10 across the board. Seating for 20 easily. If we have enough people we can even get one of the reserved rooms if they have one.

This way no one gets stuck paying more than their fair share at the end.

I know I didn't eat $25 in food or drink. But I paid it anyways and I have two cars to fix now.

OCB is as lame as TGI.(Niether is a great place for our groups to meet from parking too crowd wise)

My vote goes for pizza somewhere or somthing like Hooters, long as we kind of move it around a little in IN and IL so everyone has a chance for something kinda close.

Sounds good to me!! I think like we should all pitch in a predetermined amount of money first for pizza (such as 5 bucks a person) and order what we can with that money.

I suggested the ocb for the two reasons. Easily seat all of us, we could of pushed tables together and had no problem. And there is more than enough parking.

That is twice now i had to pay out the *** at a food get together. Maybe get togethers that involve money just can't happen with this crowd.

Don't want you guys thinking you paid for me and Nic...she had our stuff put on a separate bill so we could leave early. Our bill was about $25 (including tip). Kinda pricey....oh wait, she had steak... lol

I had fun too, sorry I had to leave early.

lol don't worry....Nicole can't do math either apparently...

Our bill came out to $21 and some change, and with her discount it was brought to like $17.25. Well...she figured you give the tip on the first amount (which is correct) but she was insisting that we pay $21 and then $4 tip and not $17.25 and $4 tip. It took me like 4 times to explain it to her before she realized that the $4 tip was based on the $21 price, but we got $4 off because of her discount.. lol

And as for the discount...I tried talking to a manager before we got there and they couldn't promise they'd do anything for us :-/
