Railway meet anyone?
Well towards the end of last summer a few of us had a rather small meet at the Illinois Railway Museum it was fun even though the rains came 
not sure who is up for this again but I would like to get a chance to get on a train this this (the diesel house was cool though)
Not sure when but as of now I'll throw in August 6th because of the car show. But Im sure we can come up with an agreed date. Thier website Illinois Railway Museum

August 6 - Sunday - 16th Annual Vintage Transport Extravaganza
The past comes alive through the display of antique autos, trucks, fire engines, tractors, motorcycles and buses-more than 500 vehicles assemble throughout the Museum campus. Ride the streetcars to the various display areas. Interurbans and diesel coach trains will be running on the mainline! "Music at the Museum"--the West End Jazz Band will entertain. (This event only: Call 262-697-7474 for information about displaying your vintage vehicle.)

I wouldn't mind going. I haven't been up there since I was like 6. Nothing going on around that time yet.

Damn thats bad.
I would be up for going again, Aug weather be nasty for hoofing it around a place that big though?

Ill be there, ive been going each year for the past 3. Ill have my 64 impala, my dad should have his 64 impala convertable, and my sister should be bringing along her 72 chevelle SS. I dont think my 86Z will be done in time.
Last year i was parked right next to the UP diesel (DDA40X) with my impala sport sedan and my sisters fathom blue velle. Im looking forward to going this year, hopefully i can meet some of you guys.

Side note: I'm about 20 pounds liter than in tha pic lol

Its kinda hard to plan stuff in May with garduations, Thirdgen Fest, etc. Same thing with the first half of June.
Do we push it back to later in the year or try and get it in mid late June?
Guess we go with what people want?
