UPDATE OF MOVIE ON CRUISING IN THE 80'S!
JUST KEEPING EVERYONE POSTED ON THE PROGRESS ON THE UPCOMING MOVIE BASED ON THE LIFE AND TIMES OF CRUISING BROADWAY (MERRILLVILLE/GARY LINE) IN THE 1980'S........THE SHOOTING OF THE FILM WILL START TO TAKE PLACE IN THE UPCOMING MONTHS (WEATHER BEING A FACTOR) ........WITH SOME FILM BEING SHOT ON ORIGINAL LOCATION.......BUT WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR ANY AND ALL INFO,PHOTOS,ANYTHING THAT COULD BE OF SOME HELP...........TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS FILM....WEBSIGHT IS IN THE WORKS,TILL THEN GO TO "MYSPACE.COM"..........THE SIGHT WILL BE UNDER THE MOVIE TITLE........"ONE BRIGHT MILE"....LEAVE ANY HELP ON THIS THREAD..THANKS.

Axle/Gears: 9 bolt w/ PBR's
What kinda cars are going to be used for this flick? Since you are posting this on here I assume that there will be a third then or two?

WE WILL NEED CARS FOR THE MOVIE "ONE BRIGHT MILE"
Just passing along the word....when we start shooting movie footage,we will need cars....they must be 1984 or older....or possibly all 3rd gen. cars..but will need to remove the third brake light.....leave any contact info on here...someone will get back to you,be patient...this movie will be worth the wait!
I guess we have three years worth... 
No third brake light or anything like that. But my car isn't coming out again until the spring when it's warm out again.

i have an 84 TA
but it has 87 formula WS6 rims and 85-90 trans am taillights....no third brake light

Damn its kinda hard to pass an IROC off as a 82-84 Z28. Well any who, I cant wait to see the progress on this film!!!

well.... my thirgen's an 88, but i have a 65 dodge, my dad has a 68 roadrunner, my friend has 2 67 cougars and a 71 ragtop... got a few other friends w/ old rides...

Info on upcoming 80's cruising movie .."ONE BRIGHT MILE"..
Hello,I'm glad to see a lot of interest in this film.."ONE BRIGHT MILE".. This movie is based on the life and times of one hot summer weekend in 1984...the flashback will have everything from fast cars cruising the strip,hanging out at your favorite spot in that 1 mile stretch,guys chasing girls,girls chasing guys,the tentions between Gary & merrillville,even racing down that long patch of road leading to Liverpool Rd.in Hobart(54th ave)......To keep everyone up to speed...the shooting will take place starting spring 07'...so anyone with cars,leave me all contact info via Email at:inmusicbiz@yahoo.com and we still are in dire need of any pictures,film or recollections of cruising broadway in the 80s anyone has...so please ask around and pass along this email to leave info at: inmusicbiz@yahoo.com thanks and stay tuned!

Casting for "ONE BRIGHT MILE"
We will start casting for the movie after winters end...most shooting can't be done in snowy weather....we will keep everyone on here updated every few weeks...there is still a call out for anyone....any and all pictures taken around the mid 80s....cruising,blue top,anything car cruising related...leave posts on here if anyone has some.

dude I cruised broadway around 1979- 1984 after that it died.No picture though just memories.It was more fun back then then the way they do it now.It was more like american grafetti.Loud cars were more common back then.If you want I have an 84 camaro you could use. I remember v8 vegas ,67-68 camaros 70s camaros, muscle cars, kz 900s is what the brothers rode.I had 75 t/a with a 455 and a 650 nighthawk back then.I thought I was cool. No ****** just featherd hair.
