Re: NEEDED BAD - windshield
I got a company that comes and installs them at my shop in Tinley Park. They are very reasonable, normally between $100-$150 installed. This is new glass. Its not the cheapest if you just want to buy the glass but you'll have a hell of a time beating that price with installation. Let me know if you are interested.

Re: NEEDED BAD - windshield
Its really not that bad to remove one. There is a nifty tool available, but i am not sure where you can buy it.
Have you ever put one in before?

Re: NEEDED BAD - windshield
My dad used to work with windshiels every day. He just put a thick cloth over the hood. Blankets preferably. He just took out the seals and kicked it out. But there is a tool with suction cups that work really well. Theres countless tools for the seals too.

Re: NEEDED BAD - windshield
Well when you kick it out it just pops out if you take the seal off right. Sometimes it comes off in one piece, and sometimes two or three. It depends how bad the old one is cracked. Mine needs replaced too. It looks like someone threw a basketball at it really really hard.
