did they ever finish the tranny on that car? i had to leave eairly due to angry girlfreind wanting me to come home.

I was the owner of that turd...guy wearing the tight Mickey Mouse fishing hat.

Tony and I finished at about 10:00 or 10:30. It sucked ***. It's not even in right. It's hanging on three belhousing bolts and the torque arm is held on by two of three bolts at the tailshaft.

I was able to limp it home (easy starts and 45mph top speed) to Chicago. Thanks for those that helped me.

I'm sure the trans swap was fun for you two, tony smelled pretty bad on the car ride home and his clothes were definately trashed after all that junk got on them, but glad to hear you made it home ok and the trans worked out for ya.

Yeah it was a nice cruise home, it was Adam (the new trans guy), Frozer, and myself, going back down the e-way, and made it home all in one piece....good times is all i can say!!

We think the pump took a crap...but I don't care enough to go through it and find out. Now I have to limp it to Streamwood and leave it in my parents' driveway.
