86 BBC Slowmarro

Well bought the car was pretty rough, crappy paint primered hood, bent front fenders, bumper was junked, some Joe-Dirt rear wheels (they stuck out past the fender. There was also some rigging..

Defitinaly a budget built.

Drive= 468bbc flat tappet, tubro 400 w/ 4k+stall, 9in rear 4.56 grears.

Anyways painted it, got new bumper and fenders, new wheels, FIXed some of the "rigging" (still some to fix), new rear wheels and tires.

Just got done with the Mini Tubb.

Here are some pics enjoy, more to come.
Suggestions welcomed

Re: 86 BBC Slowmarro

Looks good, but you didn't notch the frame rail at all when you did the mini tub, is that because you're keeping the stock springs in the rear instead of adding the wolfe kit? You could have gotten another inch at least in clearance

I did not notch the rear frame, wish i would of though. i removed that terrible plate welded in place on pic 2 and 3, also i will be adding the wolf spring kit, this thing sits up too high.
I would have not mini tubbed at all but the new wheels and tires 15x8 5.5bs? i think if i rember right.. The wheels are the summit knock offs to the WELDS.But they are a nice wheel for the price..

Re: 86 BBC Slowmarro

Wished I had a pic of the before and after... it looked like hell.
Also it was a burletta car. I just put a z28 nose and rear on the car.

Re: 86 BBC Slowmarro

Any idea of what this thing will do in 1/4?
We took it out when we first got it and ran a 12 and a 11.6 with alot of coasting. Since then i have been working on it.
