Drag Radials-What Size Fits?
I have eibach 1.25" lowering springs and stock 15X7" wheels. Im wondering about the 235-60-15 BFGs or will the 275-50-15 fit? any other suggestions?

For one reason.......that rim can only put so much tread to the ground.
The 275 would just give you too much side wall play and that is not good on the drag radials since they are almost identical to an ordinary street tire.
You can't run them at low presure like a real drag tire.
They will cup and/or lose center contact.
There is a great article on these tires and a tire called McCleary (I think)in an old issue of Car Craft with all the does and don'ts.
If I can find it I'll let you know.

Found it. They tested a 275/50/15 on a 10" rim. It looks great. On your 7" it'll look deformed.
The other tire is a McCleary Road Star.
It tested a hair "better" than the BFG drag radials. It comes in many sizes and they list it as averaging around $100 a tire.
It comes in 245/70/15, G60-15 which is around a 245/60/15, and 265/50/15 with others that are to big for your rims.
The G60-15 is probably best for your situation.
Call them up at 1-800-662-2168 for more info.
Hope this helps.

I just read this.
The McCreary tires are only legal "WITH" inner tubes.
They ran them without.
If you're only running on say the weekends at the strip I'd say forget them.
Just check your pressure more often than normal.
