1986 Camaro JUST ROTTING!!!

OK guys, I'm from Spokane, WA and all through my high school years I walked by this guy's house everyday and he had this sweet camaro just sitting in his driveway. It has never moved once, the interior is immaculate but the body is slowly succumbing to the elements. It's a 1986 z28 ttop with a 5-speed. I've talked to the guy and he's really reclusive, never comes out of his house, his shades are all closed, and he's kind of creepy!

The car has the title and registration sitting on the passenger seat, it was registered in '06 and I'm pretty sure it's sat there since. the tires are all flat, the paint's fading, and the bumper cover is cracking. It's even growing moss!

I really want to rescue this car, does anyone have any ideas? It's sat for six years, I'm sure it will need a battery and new fluids, but it's a sweet car! How much do you suppose it's worth?

knock on the door with cash in hand or leave a note maybe. There are those people out there that just won't part with anything though.

its worth what your willing to pay, but without knowing the condition of the drive train it's hard to put a fair market value on it.

is that a pic of the actual car?

I agree with the others. Cash in hand tends to make people sell things, and since you say it hasn't moved in a long time you can be sure it's not going anywhere if you speak with the guy and he wants more than you have at the moment.

Cheers!

+1 for cash in hand, some people are just nuts tho,, I needed a new front end and fender (stupid girl pulled out in front of me when I was doing 40) there was a blue 92 Z that was rotting in az by my house, I went to him and found out that its just a shell and I offered him 1500 for it, wayyyy high but I really wanted the parts and he said it was too low! I bought mine in dang near mint condition for 2k lol
