350 stock heads and crank

I have a stock pair of heads and a stock crank from a 92 350 engine. the heads are bare cause the springs were old and some of the valves were bent. let me know if anybody can use the heads or the crank, and i'll let them go for cheap. thanks. -chris

How tempting, to prep and have on hand replacement heads for my 350's, sigh... Too bad they're not Vortecs! Did you install big heads and a stroker crank?

Oops, was I bad again? If so, it wasn't malicious! I only assumed that stock heads and crank became available because your 350 engine got some improvements [or replaced with a crate swap]. Vortecs are a good option for high-mileage engines needing a valve job, since the iron GM ones come complete ready-to-bolt-on and add about 50 hp without adversely affecting mpg. Summit has them for about $250 each. EDIT: Oh I see ... visited your cardomain web pages, saw the engine mods -- say, how about an update on how your new engine runs? Should be awesome with all those performance parts! Hey, if you still have the Hyperchip make me a deal ... I've had one in my '87 5.7 for years, can't see how it would cause a meltdown.

HAHA< sorry dude, i dont even remember writing that....i was drunk last night tho...so that was prolly why...anyways. yea, i got edelbrock performer heads and a new balanced/forged crank...not stroker though...im still hunting for a stall converter, so the engine isn't in the car yet. As soon as i get that, it will be ready. I decided the other week to switch it to carburated instead of the TPI. So i got myself an air-gap polished manifold and im polishing the inside as i speak. If you want the hyperchip, lemme know. All i know is that my car was running good and solid until i put the chip in...then it started burning oil inside the engine and a valve-cover gasket blew which i actually have to thank hypertech for this cause it gave me a reason to rebuild my engine...maybe the chip was bad, do u think thats a possibility?? is there some way i could test it??

Well, if you've got parts you're throwin' out and Ed doesn't want them, I'll take them off your hands.

I don't have a use for the heads, so please continue with Chris to obtain them. I might have stuff to get rid off later this year in regards to moving to AZ, but it's too early to know what parts will be available.
