Moving Sale stuff
While packing the Camaro stuff for my move, here's the stuff that won't ship 'cause they're too fragile, not part of planned upgrades, or too heavy. Call 389-3697. Thanks, Ed
Here's what's available:
One set of metal drive-on steel ramps with the add-on entry boosters for low cars. $20
Heavy duty manual tow winch and cable, NIB. $10
Permatex rust-proofing set, has like six cans of spray stuff. FREE
Camaro 2nd Gen front clip, excellent condition, primered. FREE
Craftsman air compressor, think it's a 10 gal tank, 3.5 horsepower. $50

Sorry, don't have any IROC wheels, only 91-92 Z28 16's and I need the extra set in storage just in case a curb reaches out and slams a rim... My buddy in AZ has a set of IROC 17's for sale, but the postage would be challenging.

Yeah, the plastic loses flexibility over time and sometimes just going over hard bump will cause the pads to crack. Heck these things have been soaking up the sun for a couple decades and are as brittle as a potato chip. I'm resigned to eventually having my dash pad split someday during an Arizona snowstorm when I turn on the heater, heh.

Price reduced -- 4th Gen rear excellent mechanical condition w/PBR brakes, rotors, lines [gear ratio is in the 3.x range -- I installed one of these on my '92and it is awesome how good the brakes work]. $75

FYI our house for sale is in escrow, soon as it closes and the sale is final, we'll be renting for a month, then getting our tickets to fly out on/about Dec 18. Most of the car stuff has been sold, but there might be some odds and ends to give away.

Ok guys, we're winding up for the final pitch ... the Camaros go on Matson Wednesday for the trip to Long Beach. Still got some stuff to sell:
Craftsman air compressor, think it's a 10 gal tank, 3.5 horsepower, 50-feet of air hose and it comes with a Craftsman spray gun [I shot PPG on both the Camaros with this setup, so I know it works]. $50 for both.
Two six-foot tall metal storage lockers, one has four steel shelves and a lock; both have double doors. Good for storing paint and other flammables such as hydrogen and acetone [don't keep those bad boys under the bed or in the kitchen...] $30 takes 'em both.

Sorry, compressor and gun are gone. But hey here's a great deal for $10 you can have a bunch of primer, paint and epoxy resin. Some of the cans are nearly full. And I'll include a 3rdGen Camaro Power window mechanism and motor. Gotta get it before Friday dump-day! Tuesday the computer will be gone, but my cellphone will be on, 389-3697.

Here's a paint photo -- darn, won't accept the JPG -- there's gallon cans of primer surfacer from PPG, Martin-Seynor and the gallon can of epoxy resin is from Fiberglass Hawaii.

Rolling into Kingman, AZ
My family and I finally rolled our two Camaros into Kingman on Dec 20 and have been getting familiar with the area. Big change from Honolulu! Driving more than ten minutes at 80 mph in a straight line makes my hands twitch -- they're so used to having to turn left or right going around the island!
Oddly, the cost of groceries and stuff in stores is a bit higher than Hawaii... Gas is cheaper, thank goodness for that! People are friendly and polite in this fast-growing town.
Tom and George sure rolled out the red carpet for us fellow TGO members, they've made a difficult move incredibly easier. Haven't seen many nice 3rd Gens on the roads here, only a couple junkers, sigh. Guy living down the block though, has two nice Camaros ... I'll stop by and say "hi" one of these days soon.
We're house-hunting now, some nice places up here in the high desert. One of them has a five car detached garage on 3/4-acre, sounds like my kind of place! When we get settled visitors will be welcome. Well, just thought I'd drop in with an update. More will follow!
