Crashed 87 IROC...continued, full T5 conversion, Centerforce clutch, TPI heads
Continued from this thread but made a new one so people don't have to read through all the junk: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=312870
The few pictures that I have for now can be seen on my car domain website. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/1897580
The crash pics and the pics of the engine and tranny out of the car are on the second page. The engine is sold but the transmission and everything you need to convert to stick is still available. If you want pics of anything let me know and I can take them and email them to you.
The shell is getting towed away in a week so if you want anything, make an offer on it.
Here's whats left:
T5 5-speed Transmission - 49K miles on it
Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch and Flywheel (the flywheel is junk, the starter grinds on the teeth really bad when you crank it, but it still works.) - 1000 miles on them
ONE DAY OLD clutch hydraulic assembly (master/slave/reservoir/line). I installed it on Friday and crashed Saturday. It felt sweet for a day though.
Clutch pedal
B&M Ripper Short Throw Shifter
$600 for that whole package, I guess I would ship it if necessary but it could be pretty expensive at the buyer's expense.
91-92 Z28 hi-rise spoiler $75 plus shipping
I can sell the seats, interior pieces (they are gray, and the dashpad is cracked so you don't want it), doors, side GFX, rear bumper, torque arm, driveshaft, master cylinder, brake booster, a bunch of relays, possibly the TPI wiring harness, the spare tire and jack, T-tops with bag, and front suspension pieces if anyone is interested.
I also have the old LB9 305 shortblock with 48K on it. Cylinder walls look very good, have slight surface rust starting to develop. It has the L98 cam since it had the 5-speed. $50...the roller lifters themselves are worth that much.
081 Casting 305 TPI heads. No portwork done, perfect to make really cheap performance heads if you port them yourself. $50
Stock TPI centerbolt valve covers. Decent condition. $20 plus shipping.
I also have a brand new in the box set Comp Cams Magnum Lifters and 7812 hardened pushrods if anyone is interested. They are for a flat-tappet cam, not a roller.
You can email me at rsn932@yahoo.com, PM me, or respond here or anything. Thanks guys.

how much for the t tops? Mine are't horrible, but the stripping on the side pulls down a bit and gets caught in the door sometimes...

The Instrument Cluster, Is it a 145 Mph Unit? If so how much do you want for it? Also The Drivers and passenger side ground effects, how much for those?
Thanks,
Han
Thanks,

The t-tops are in good shape. the weatherstripping on the side isn't in perfect condition, but it's not a problem. I have a spare passenger side one and a spare bag too, you can have them all for $50.
The instrument cluster was a 145 but it sold already. Make me an offer on the side GFX, I have no idea how much they are worth.
The 081s are in good shape. Nothing wrong with them at all except they could use some new valve seals since there used to be a puff of blue smoke on startup.

I'll try to get a shipping quote on the tranny on Monday, I am going away for the weekend so I won't be able to respond to anyone until then. I've never shipped something to Canada...isn't it really expensive to go over the border?

depends the weight. ive sent a t5 to the states before it was around 90-100$, and the flywheel/hydraulis/shifter/etc was another 55$ in a 2nd box. that was canadian. duty charges are CRAZY i think. depends what you ship.
my brother just got 17" rims which weighed 140 pounds altogether and got charges 166$ across the border.
but get me a quote, and if shipping isnt crazy ill get it.

Shipping to Canada is going to be unbelievably expensive, but if he takes it I'll buy those pedals from you.

How about $30 for the Driver and Passenger Ground Effects? How much would shipping be to 35952? Also if I may inquire, how much are you looking to get for the Grids?

mr_han_solo - Sent you a PM
m3thod - Sent you a PM
justlearning - I could check on the shipping but it would probably make it not even worth buying them. They are 40-50 lbs each so....

roughskinjrz - I got a shipping quote of $85-90 depending on what size box the tranny is in. Another $55-60 for the bellhousing, clutch, hydraulics stuff. This is via UPS. However, that doesn't include the duty charges that Customs will impose and the UPS guy said he doesn't deal with that at all, so I have no idea how much that would be.

i need the rear bumper support, the little metal strips that go along the top of the center t top bar (if theres s that holds the headlighlittle white clip thingies that holds the headlights in place...shipping?
#27
The rear bumper support is in very good condition. The little bar on top of the t-tops is cracked, so you probably wouldn't want it. All traces of my headlights disappeared in the accident, so I can't help you with the little clips. If you're interested in the bumper let me know.

oh yeah and before u even bother gettin the quote r these heads fully assembled w/ everthing and whats the cc chamber size
#35
Heads are fully assembled, not quite sure on the chamber size. They are stock 305 TPI heads, 081 casting so I'm sure someone can tell you the exact chamber size, I think its either 64 cc or 58 cc.

For some reason I never got an email from you...
In any case, my paypal address is rsn932@yahoo.com and paypal should send me something with your delivery address on it when you pay me. Thanks.

Is the tranny package:
still available?
T5 5-speed Transmission - 49K miles on it
Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch and Flywheel (the flywheel is junk, the starter grinds on the teeth really bad when you crank it, but it still works.) - 1000 miles on them
ONE DAY OLD clutch hydraulic assembly (master/slave/reservoir/line). I installed it on Friday and crashed Saturday. It felt sweet for a day though.
Clutch pedal
B&M Ripper Short Throw Shifter

Hey guys, on some of that heavier stuff, check on shipping by bus. Greyhound and Trailways used to ship stuff like that pretty cheap (just not fast). BTW-do you still have the front seats, and are they in good shape.
#50
Yes I still have the front seats. They are in pretty good condition. There are two or three small rips, no more than an inch or two and they aren't deep at all, just a little worn through. I can email you some pictures if you are interested. They are gray.
