Clam shell mounts and engine block mounts
I'm looking for the clamshell type motor mounts for a 305/350.
The insides don't matter just need the shells.
Also looking for the mounts to the engine block too.
Rust free preferred, have a freind in need.
Thanks,
Terry

I was looking for a buddy that I guess didn't want to wait. He went with a set from Moroso. It's a set of solid mounts that included the block mounts.
I might be interested in a complete set for my V-6 Burly if I ever do a swap. I already have a set of springs set aside. LOL
I'd probably replace the rubber part as I'm doing now for my F-41.

I called a local dealership but they wanted over $100 for each side.
GM parts direct are cheaper ($60/ side) but have high shipping/ handling.
Then there's Ecklers Camaro catalog but it's not clear which include the clamshell. Prices range from $10- $105. The $10 ones pictured show a clamshell so I know that one is wring.
I think these may be universal so if i was in a bind I would check other vehicles.

I think the hype about the poly ones rasing the engine is total BS. I just got poly replacements and you can line up the old ones and the poly next to each other and they are the same. The height differance comes in with fact that the old rubber sags like hell when you put the weight of the engine on it. New rubber ones will ride the same height as poly as first but will eventually sag just like the stock junk.
