Car: 1991 Pontiac Firebird
Engine: TBI 5.7L v8
Transmission: Modified T-5
I have a 1991 Pontiac Firebird. Engine has already had a lot of work done to it. The interior needs some work. The body only has one minor dent by the rear tail light and it could use some new paint. It's out of inspection right now... to pass emissions it needs the cats/AIR system put on. I have these pieces, and they come with the sale. More info if you need it. Car runs great. $2000 OBO. I am located in eastern PA. Feel free to contact me if you're interested...

i have an 88 GTA rollin chassis. no motor but have the factory tpi parts and the trans came to me in pieces, i have 2 different shift kits to go with it. the trans is a 700r4. i have $1000 in it and that is all i want out of it. it has factory gold wheels and the digital? dash, one small dent in the pass front fender and clear coat is peeling on the roof. overall the car is a great start to a project, i don't have time and hate to see this car go to waste

Stock front, Sony rear speakers (no covers for rear)

Tinted side and rear windows
The hatch motor works fine

----------
This Camaro was originally intended for the Drag Strip. Some things have been done for the strip, and others have been undone for the street. I bought it last March with a broken transmission. Replaced it with my friend’s transmission from his prototype 86 Firebird before he sold it. I have tuned and cleaned the carburetor. The stock gauge panel was going out and a replacement tach was screwed to the dash. I built a custom panel from 6061-T6 aluminum, cut, primed and painted a semi-gloss (satin) black to match the rest of the interior. The tops are the glass version and have a few minor scratches on the inside tint, otherwise are clear. The B&M Megashifter had a few initial holes in the rubber when I bought it, but since have grown and it needs to be replaced. The seats are of a carbon/fiber pattern, and are clean The dash is clean except for the holes mentioned above and a few cracks on the side corners. The T-Top bag is fairly good. It does take a little bit to get the tops in and zipped up, but they fit. The mounting brackets in the rear for the bag are missing. The body has a few cracks in the plastic on the front corners and rear corners.
As is, it runs very strong considering the 2.73 open rear end and older transmission. It pulls to over 6000rpm and has no vibrations in the engine at all, very smooth, very strong engine even though I do not know what the rotating assemblies are. I was able to run a 15.7 at Los Angeles County Raceway the one time it was taken to the track. If the transmission was replaced with a new one capable of taking the engine, the gears changed to 3.73 or so, and headers installed, it would definitely do much better. It does shift a little sluggish between 1st and second at full throttle, however I have driven it every day for the past 6 months with NO major problems, and do not foresee any in the near future.
You may ask why I am selling it. I ended up buying a newer vehicle. I would have loved to have kept this as a project, but it would take too much time and money for upgrading. This car is a great start to a nice street/strip car, and has plenty of potential. It gets plenty of looks when driving, sounds great, and runs great. Once headers, new transmission, and rear end are complete, should be able to really open up and run.

located in edison,nj here's full description
I am selling my 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28. It maroon with gold trim, and it has the stock gold 15" wheels. The wheels are in great shape, not bent or beaten up. The tires are worn out so you will need to get 4 new ones. It is a t-top car, which is really nice for the summer coming up. It's the 305 V8 with a 4 barrel carb(LG4). It has an automatic tranny in it, the stock 700R4 and it shifts nice and smoothly. It has 136,000 miles on it, it runs, but very rich because the carbuerator needs work. I've recently put brand new stainless steel Flowmaster 3" American Thunder cat-back exhaust on it, it has not even been taken out on the road with the new exhaust on it. The body is in great shape, striaght and no damage except for normal wear. I have recently steam cleaned the interior so the seats look great. The driver seat and carpet are a bit worn, which is common. The radio is hooked up with the rear speakers but the front speakers are missing because the previous owner took them out to replace, but never did. The car has a subwoofer box that fits 2 10 inch subs in the back which is also not hooked up, but can be really really nice when hooked up. All power windows, locks, and hatch work properly, all lights work except the center mounted brake light because the contact is worn out, which is just a few bucks to replace. The car's paint is original so its worn, but with a nice polish and wax you can get away not painted for a while. Everything on this car is bone stock, no engine modifications or intake/carb mods, and is COMPLETELY NUMBERS MATCHING. I just did plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel pump and fuel filter, so they are all brand new. I am located in Edison, NJ, bout 45 min from New York City, if you want to come see the car. As far as price goes, I am asking $1500. I really love this car and would like finish it because it has such great potential, but my everyday car has been giving me trouble so I am getting a new car, and therefore need the money. The fact that the body is striaght and its bone stock makes this car something that can be special. Email me at HotRodz2@aol.com for pictures or to set up a time to come see it. My name is Bobby, and thanks for your interest.

Car: 84 Camaro Z28
Engine: 305H
Transmission: 700R4
I've got an '84 Z28.
Black, gray interior, 2DR Hatchback with T tops, V8 305H, 170000 miles, Automatic Transmission w/overdrive, power windows and door locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, extra alarm system, current inspection. Performance tires. Everything on the car is GM. Car was well taken care of.
Includes numerous new original GM parts for restoration such as wheel covers, bra, center console lid, horn cover, vents, seatbelts, switches for the power doorlocks and windows, etc. (Parts that are mostly discontinued as new parts from GM).
Also includes several GM mechanical parts such as a complete filter kit, brakes, headlights, shock, tuneup parts, etc. The car has recently replaced suspension parts including rear shocks and leaf springs, front struts and sway bar link kits, also recently had new radiator, water pump intake manifold, alternator, AC compressor.
The transmission needs work. My mechanic says he believes it needs a sprag. Needs a paint job.

Runs very stong and gets 23mpg on the highway and new Kumho's in the rear.

I am ready to give up my bird; due to the fact that I am tired of putting money into her. I have replaced just about everything and she stills shuts down on me after running 30-45 mintues, I thinking her Brain (ECM) needs replacing.
The following new items:
Alternator, Waterpump, Fuel pump, fuel filter, ICM, Pickup Coil, Distributor cap, wires and plugs, belts, hoses, Dynomax Catback, Custom made CAI.
So the first reasonable offer takes her:

Two Formula's
I have two 89 formulas that I am selling. One is a automatic with what I have been told is a LT4 motor (but I believe it is just a 350) and T Top in good shape going for 1,800 bro. The other is a 5 spd 305 with the interior almost complete ( the oly thing left is the seats and a kick panel). It even has the hatch retractable cover intact. She is going for 2,100 best offer. I live in the Springfield MA area. Take a Look and Get back to me. I dont have the lights and nose cover for the blue one.The_Java_Man@comcast.net

I'm gonna be stripping out my 86 T/A. It'll be a rolling shell. It's black w/t-tops. Won't have interior, drivetrain and I'll be swapping the rear to a drum setup.
Interested? I'm in Pa 18324.

Axle/Gears: 3.27, just works
What are you still looking for ?
myne has a pretty good body, and runs great, higher mileage, with the right parts, fresh front end after an accident, manual steering gear, manual column, heat only runs 13's, 5.7 tpi, 9 bolt 3.27's rear, 2K$, or so the way it is, needs some interior work, and finished body, also has good floor pans, t tops, don't leak. Its a good 87 iroc to be turned into a drag car.

Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: 5.0L TPI
Transmission: AT
1989 Formula 305 TPI Automatic. T-tops. White. Just passed inspection. Power Bulge hood. Has slight body damage from a side swipe. Nothing you wouldn't drive around in. Newer driver side door. Drives straight on the highway, frame isnt bent. Moderate rust (not bad). 150K miles. Still runs strong, trans shifts very smooth. Just bought it so I am not sure of what was replaced in the past, but operates very tight. Got a full tune up, new starter, brakes, altenator, turn signals. Amp and subs in the back (not hooked up). Good drivetrain. I'm local in New Jersey. Asking $1,400 or best offer. (thats high hopes too, so it will sell for less)

1990 Firebird
I have a 90 Firebird with a 305 TBI 700r4 Tranny; I just got it on the 18th of Aug to replace my 94 Z28 that has a blown head gasket. I don’t have time for 2 projects. This is not really a big project, it’s just I need to get a decent running car to go back and forth to work. I paid $1600 for the car and another $300 in parts. Let me tell you what has gone on so far. I bought the entire necessary tune up stuff. (Cap wires rotor plugs thermostat oil oil filter ECT.) When I went to replace the thermostat I noticed that the housing was covered in what looked like J.B. Weld and a bent bar was attached to one of the intake bolts and bent over the one side of the housing. When I removed everything including the housing I noticed the one of the housing bolts was broken in the intake. I could not extract the bolt so I went and bought another intake on e-bay. Put everything back together and now I can’t get the timing set right. The car now gets hot. Not overly hot, just above the 220 mark (around 240) and if I try to set the timing to the specified 0 degrees, the car stalls in reverse or drive. I don’t have time to do some investigating, so it needs to go. I have not done a full inspection of the car so I don’t know what else it could be. A lot of the rust you see is surface rust, I have not seen any rust through, but that does not mean it doesn’t have it.
Here is what the car has: T-tops, power pull down hatch, zippered T-top bag, Black Canvas security cover, Power windows doors and mirrors.
Here is what the car does not have: Stereo (The stereo in the pictures is from my 94 Z28. I put it in there to have one) Door/T-top/Hatch/Rear glove box Key. When I got the car at a used car lot, he had to repo the car and spends $200 for a pair of ignition keys (VATS keys) and didn’t want to spend any more money on door keys.
The hood release cable is broken, so the guy had put a wire on the release so you can open it from out side the car.
After all of that, I know I’m not going to get back my total of $1900 for the car. So I’m willing let it go for $1400. I have got to get this car gone to get another car that I don’t have to work on. After reading this and if you are interested, I can send you the 26 pictures I have of it. I’ll send the pictures in several different e-mails so that way it doesn’t take forever to download. E-mail me for them.
Matthew
P.S. I live 10 Miles south of Indianapolis just off of I-65
