smell fuel car stalls
hi i just replaced my injectors and regulator on my camaro. i replaced the injectors because my old ones went out but even before that happened and now my car seems to have alot of trouble climbing hills and will backfire some times. now it also seems to wanna stall some times in reverse espically on a hill it also will sometimes stall clmbing hills at slow speeds. also if im just moving at idle speed and give it gas then let off itll rev and then almost wanna die. i also can smell fuel when i shut the car off and im sitting inside. im not sure waht the deal is but im also using alot more gas then normal 10 gallons is only getting me about 120 miles and i dont drive with a leadfoot. any help would be great thanks

Your problem is neatly contained within the first two words of your thread intro ....
" SMELL FUEL " equals fuel LEAK . I don't think you need me to tell ya that NO Third Gen is supposed to smell ONE BIT of fuel while either running nor parked , and fixing your fuel leak WILL solve the 10 gallons per 120 miles problem . Till ya identify and repair exactly where the fuel is leaking from it makes no sense to worry about any sort of crappy running , since the crappy running is HIGHLY likely to go away when the fuel leak does ....
Good Luck with it

Better retrace your steps on your injector replacement.
He's right, if you didn't have a fuel smell before, then you probably have a leak.
Back up and start over and make sure you didnt miss anything.
