The video is about 6 megs and you have to have the DivX codec installed in order to see it... The quality isn't the greatest, but we didn't have time to play with it.. Cheers!

That's sweet as hell man. Where are you oiling them turbos from? and is this clip right now with the mufflers on or off? just curious. Man I can't wait to get mine fired up! I just got the harness repinned for the 749 computer, I won't be long behind ya!

Congrats.

Thanks guys.. The reason it was so hard to start was because my starter was crap.. If I advanced my timing enough so it would start, it couldn't get by a compression stroke and then would roll back and fire up thru the carb.. Once I got the starter fixed and aligned right, advanced the timing, she fired right up...

Balael6: I'm oiling the turbos from the tap right above the timing cover.. I'm not sure if all blocks have that hole there or not, but mine did, and so did bhass I believe...

The video is with the mufflers on.. They're 3" flowpaths.. It's a TON quieter with those turbos... Ohh well...

Cheers!

Right on. Sounds great. I use to have a gear drive. They sure sound cool. (In other peoples cars ) mine drove me nuts. I took it out. When you gonna be driving it? What kind of carb you running? I want to make a video of mine. Gonna have to bum a cam somewhere. That is sweeeeeet though. Bet you can't wait to drive it. Good job. Lets see the fire footage. I started some good fires on mine to. Damn carbs. Was blowing flames out of my turbos to.

Sorry Brad, maybe if you tell me what Bhaas stands for, I'll remember it better.... roflmao...

I'm hoping to have it out this weekend.. If you listen closely to the video just before it starts and runs, you can here the radio saying it's -20 degrees Cel and -30 Cel with wind chill... Having no heater in the car is bad for this time of year.. =)

I'm running a Holley 800 dbl pumper... I'm going to write an article and post it with pics on how to set a holley up for blow thru.. You should do the same for the edelbrock...

I am busting at the seems, I want to take it out and crank on it, but I feel that the ET Streets probably won't hook too well on the cold salt/ice/snow covered roads... /sigh.. I need to live somewhere warmer...

Cheers!

Haas is just my last name. I'm gonna make a site when I get it all figured out. I've been putting it off. It's gonna be a lot of work. That is cold where your at. I'm in Washington State and it's been warm all winter. Hasn't frozen much at all this winter. Perfect working on car weather. Last winter sucked though. Was snowing in March. Take it easy in that ice. I drilled out my secondary jets to .146 this morning when I got home from work, will put them in later today probably. Got a checkball for my fuel pump so it doesn't see vacuum, so I'm ready to hit the streets again. I might go the injector route. That'll be a fun project.

Ahhh, ok, that makes a little more sence...

So is getting the carb set up the last of your worries?

I'm not against the extra fuel injector idea, but I'm gonna try my hardest to avoid it just for the simple fact I'm lazy and don't want to do it... he he... I have an electric in tank pump as well as my mechanical so I guess it wouldn't be that bad, but my car is just a weekend warrior so street manners and fuel mileage are moot points to me...

Good luck with the tuning.. Cheers!
