Nitrous rpm on/off
I just picked up a nitrous kit for my 305 TBI and have never run spray before. I was wondering if i should spray it right off the line, or have a rpm selector from like 2500 rpm to say 5500rpm. Let me know what you think. thanks

A window switch is always good. I like to use mine as a safety thought. I shift before the switch turns off. I have a WOT switch also. Whe I race I lift the gas just a enough to dissengage the juice while shifting. If I miss a shift, then the window switch is there so it won't keep spraying while its bounces off the rev limiter.

Since the amount of nitrous/fuel is constant regardless of rpm, I recommend spraying at higher rpms only (on a stock motor), which causes less nitrous/fuel mixture to be used per combustion process, thus keeping cylinder pressures easily within acceptable levels. Try setting your window switch to release nitrous/fuel between 3300-5800 rpm and work from there.
