anyone gone fast w/ 749 ecm

i see several people have them running in there
cars but i have not found anyone thats has gone
as fast as the n/a cars

now is the reason the sycone typhoon 749 $58
code proccesor is holding the cars back or the cars
are not being built to go that fast ..

no offense to anyone running low 12's or high 11's
as that is an accomplishment to do so
but i am interested in mid 10's as i am installing a
70 mm turbo on my car

Well I have only had two runs, with 14.4 being the best. But there isn't a reason a 749 will hold me back. The biggest thing currently is the few that are running a 749 now, have only converted recently, and are still shaking their various cars down.

The SyTy guys are running into the 11's. I have heard a turbo Mustang running a 749 was into the 10's but I have never read/seen it.

The ecm is fine.. a near clone to a 730.

The programming is fine.. and completely hacked.

Now just to turn that ET...

i have a 92 typhoon as well as my
formula and the 11's is the fastest
most sy ty's go before switching to
a fast system .. main reason that i can
find out is the limit of 6 42lb injectors
being the horsepower limiter ..
i am hoping with 8 42lb injectors that
will allow me to get my goal

i am not sure about the compressor housing
i got it from a turbo shop .. it is a 70 mm
wheel with a p trim .96 exhaust side
i will run out of exhaust side before i max
the compressor side out but it should still
be good for 550 - 600 rwhp if pushed hard ..
and i do plan on pushing it .

I believe you can get 55lb SAT injectors, and I know some SyTy's are running 72lb P/H injectors after modifiying the injector drivers.

Unfortunitly I have not run one that hard.. so I am unsure as to any tuning issues that may develop.

ii have looked at that
both lt1 and ls1 guys have had
success with it ..
it looks like my choice is :
aftermarket electronics
730 and a fmu
749 and a converter to run low impedence injectors

i still am also looking for better deal on the
injectors themselves , someone has to have a set
of good used 50 - 60 lb injectors for sale
