Supercharged 383 grocery list
So I've been doing some research for a while on the requirements for a 383 supercharger build. I'm only a few days into my deployment, but my wallet will be growing while I'm out here. I just wanted to run what I've come up with so far so I don't waiste my money on parts that arent right. I already know about getting the rock solid bottom end and trying to keep the compression tame. I guess the question is my flow. I'm starting off with a small pumper, but wanted to keep my options open for a 6-71 if I ever feel like dealing with the headache of two carbs. Here goes.
*AFR Eliminator Racing Heads
75cc camber
210 intake
80 exhuast
2.080 in. intake valve
1.600 in. exhaust valve
*Crane Cams PowerMax Retrofit
240 int./248 exh. @ 050
306 int./314 exh. ad dur
114 LSA
*Crower Enduro full roller rocker arms
1.6 ratio on intake
1.7 ratio on exhaust
*I'm also going to add a crankshaft evacuation system for good measure.
Does everything add up or is there something I'm missing or something that doesn't add up? All the help would be appreciated.

Re: Supercharged 383 grocery list
Great heads. Have a custom cam made, its not any more than an off the shelf cam and it will be damn near perfect. Don't buy the camshaft until you have the entire combination in your possession. Bullet Racing makes great cams. Their billet steel solid roller runs about $325.
Look into a kenne belle, whipple, or magnacharger blower. They are a more modern piece and have great results from what I've seen. There is no need for dual carbs unless you want 1400+ HP. Pro Systems Carbs in Michigan is also an excellent shop for a custom carb.
Shop around, you may be able to have this engine built for a decent price by a professional and have it ready for your arrival home. Thanks for serving!

Also I forgot to add that I'm going with exhaust cutouts after the headers so the backpressure doesn't close the check valve in the crank evac system.
