eaton m90 or maybe m112 supercharger on TPI

I posted this in a TPI section and I guess it was a wrong place so I'm reposting this here.

I've received great help here and now I need it again :-)))
I have 87 305 TPI Trans Am (don't tell me to get a 350...PLEASE! :-)) )
I've recently put a Crane Cams 104224 (Duration Advertised:270° Intake / 276°; Exhaust Duration @ .050'' Lift:214° Intake / 220° Exhaust;
Valve Lift w/1.5 Rockers:.452'' Intake / .465'' Exhaust). Otherwise the car is nearly stock. I have Granatelli MAF (which I don't really like...yet at least!) and Mallory adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

I want to put a m90 supercharger on the side of the engine. I know it has been done a lot of times before but here are the questions:

1) Would m112 fit above the left cylinder head or should I go with m90?
2) My injectors are faulty anyways. What size should I buy? And is it possible to fit the 7m Supra Injectors that I can have for free?
3) What size intercooler should I get?
4) What is the most boost I can run to keep it safe?
5) I cannot tune my car anywhere. So I'll have to order a custom burnt PROM. Whom would you advise?
6) Any other advises?

Hope to get help here again :-))) Otherwise I'm in deep **** :-))))))))))

1)Not sure. I'd probably do the 112 if you can get one for a decent price anyways. May as well have some head room.
2)The FMS 42s are cheap enough. The 7Ms won't work, they are side feed I believe not top feed. Get a fuel pump too Walbro 255lph HP is a good start.
3)The chinese knockoff ones that are 3" or 4" thick with 12 inch width are pretty decent for most people. Should be good to quite a bit of power.
4)That's relative, based on pump gas versus race gas versus alky injection, intercooling and timing play into it as well though. In particular I"d probably try to creep up on about 12 PSI with a stock 305 and 93. With a cam and some intake porting you'd probably make damn decent #s.
5)Either get tuning gear and DIY it or get a Megasquirt. Safer and easier in the long run. Also get a wide band.

This is the most important part of the whole project. The 'easiest' thing you could do to make it very tunable would probably be the Dynamic EFI EBL Flash. This would eliminate the mass air and put you on a 2 or 3 bar map sensor. You should also get the wide band O2 option. You'll have around $900 into all of this but it will pretty much plug in to what you have (stock harness, etc) with minimal changes. Then you can get the tune exactly right and when you have it done you'll have tuning skills.

Megasquirt is another similar cost option. It's not quite plug and play (although there is an adapter for the 87 wiring harness but it must be 'built'). That's what I use but it's definitely more for the geeky types like me that like to build harnesses and such.

Mailed proms are a bad idea in most cases but certainly in the case of forced induction. The only case I could make for them in your situation would be if someone had an identical engine/blower/injectors/fuel system/drivetrain/gear/weight that they had extensive tuning into. A copy of their prom might be ok or it might not.

You could make the argument that it's too expensive to go to an aftermarket ecm. Well you are risking a whole engine by not using the tools available, and that's a lot more trouble to fix later than spending $900 now.

Re: eaton m90 or maybe m112 supercharger on TPI

First of all thanks a lot for your replies! I really appreciate it! It's nearly impossible to do these things in my country as there are no professionals :-((( So I have to learn everything through trial and error.

I'll be using a 93 or 95 octane fuel.

As far as tuning goes...I'll be honest...I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how it's done or what to get to get started. I've read a lot of things though.
If you could send me the links to the things that I need to buy it would be really helpful (some sort of a list that would include everything...tuning gear, map sensor...wideband etc...I might be asking too much but I don't have too many other choices). The easier it will be the better :-)))

Thanks again
