Twin Turbo's have arrived.

This is a Corvette engine but i thought you guys wouldn't mind to see my Twin Turbo setup.

I got the stuff today so this is only test fitting (on just a bare block)

The turbo's are rotomaster T04B's w/ rotomaster wastegates & 3" downpipes. Manifold is a moon style (not moon!) crossram w/ 4 dellorto DHLA 45 Tri-Jet (Esprit Turbo) carbs that can take 3 bars of boost.

That sure looks like it will be easier to deal with than my setup. How did you come across those.

So then, what's your setup? Pics?

I bought this stuff in finland. It will be a PITA to hook up to the crossram though and I also need 2 intercoolers.

The exh. manifolds are custom made (cast) all the rest is custom stuff too.

Check the thread "For those of you wanting to see the TT". You'll see the motor and my car. I would have killed to have found some manifolds with the wastegate mounted there.

Are thos Gale banks exh. manifolds? (wooops, just read YES! gale banks)

Your engine looks really Cool!! Monty posted it on CorvetteForum. I have about the same as you, also have milodon Gear drive like yours.

Do you like the track 1's I'm thinking AFR 195 / 74cc's.

Where is your oil return to the pan? You need to mod the pan. If you want, I can take pics of a modded pan.

I like everything about the Track 1's but I haven't actually gotten to drive on them yet. I'm already in the process of having the pan fitted with bungs and AN fittings. But I enjoy all pics of turbo charged V8's.

I'm kind of dissapointed. Those tires are way to small, and this project wasn't thought through. ; )

Re: Twin Turbo's have arrived.

It's a 1 off cast intake, nothing commercially available. It sort of looks like a moon crossram but it's different in the spacing of the runners and the wauy the throttle linkage works

Re: Twin Turbo's have arrived.

It's a 1983 stepside. it's lowered with rolled fenders, has a little customized 350 w/ th400 (that I managed to blow the 2nd gear out of) instead of the original 305 w/ 700R4, rear custom roll pan, oak bed floor w/ stainless strips & hardware (custom), custom dual stainless side exhaust, powdercoated wheels, custom leather interior and all new trim. Currently fixing some minor rust issues on the firewall. The metal is flexing rom depressing the brakes and some seams let gpo and there's a couple o pinholes. Have a vortech carb enclosure and a bunch of other stuff like aluminum 195cc TS heads and so...i may sticka SC on it.

Re: Twin Turbo's have arrived.

You sir have great taste in mods. I love the truck as well. I'd much rather have a late 60s c10, but that truck makes me just as willing to try an 80s truck. the only thing that could make that truck better is a 5 speed!

I know but a floor shifter is really cumbersome since it has a fold bench, not a set of buckets.
