Bi *** SIGS are annoying!
Mines about the size of a standard Ad banner, but some people have them as big as 620x302 pixels, might as well be 640x480 which is still a scree resoultion for some people.
Perhapps there should be a limit on the size of sig imgs, I'm getting tired of being at my g/fs house trying to read the board on her 56k connection and cuase the 4 people with the huge *** sigs signed 12 times it takes forever.

Yeah there's a limit on the image in for the avatar so there should be a limit on posted pics. One thing I hate when people post pics not in their sig, in the post; and to see some of the words in some posts I have to move the bottom toolbar over. Not everyone runs bigger than 800x600

Ever thought about e-mailing or PM'ing these people and asking them nicely if they would resize their sig? After adding all that stuff at the bottom under your pic, your sig turns out to be 804x218 pixels. Which takes up valuable space as well.

theres more than a few people so it would be kinda a hassle to go and look for all the people with big sig pics.also lots of people would be assh0les about the whole thing so its easier to just kinda make a nice post like this about it.

Here's an idea, when you run across a sig that is too long, either reply about it or PM the person politely.
I replied the other day to a member that posted his sig like 5 times in one post. I just simply asked politely to only do one per thread. And he was very nice and changed it. So all it takes is some courtesy.

hehe j/k
i wouldnt like that cuz then you couldnt brag about your car
i think a good thing to do would be to have a limit of posting your sig once in a thread tho.

I'm not much of a computer expert, so could someone please enlighten me on the subject? Exactly how do you put a picture in the sig anyway?

Yes it is quite large and the message, well some of it is kinda pointless.
Maybe something alittle more like this:
88 Formula WS6 w/66,000 miles!
As for the rest of that stuff you should put it on a personal website not in your sig. You want just enough info to attract people to your website.

i don't have a website for my car quite yet. it's just a cool pic i made, and i'm not seeing the pointlessness of the message i'm sending, i think i will shorten it up a bit to save space. and until i reduce the picture i will remove it. thanks for the input, somehow through uploading confusion it turned out to be huge, sorry bout that
