I think I'll leave it for now, the good thing about this is one is that it really wouldn't be too bad/hard to have color added later if I wanted to.

Well I did figure out that it's not one of my pulleys making the squeak, so I guess that rules out the alternator trying to be charged too fast idea? Any other ideas?

Well the car has worked fine to this point and I'm not changing the carb, I understand what you mean but am not sure if the carb is the issue with this given problem now anyways.

When i ran the screwdriver over over the valve covers and oil pan there wasn't any noises, but when i put it to the exhaust it seems like that's where it is coming from but you know it's hard to tell...
