Yea a hot cam is only good for about 330 rwhp. Id watch the for sale sections for a cc503 cam or something similar for cheap. Ask around on your local car forum and find a reputable shop in your area...

700r4 and 4l60 are the same thing. It may have been 'called' a 4l60 in 92-93 but its the same transmission.

Dreams and asperations? Its no secret what a 230/244 high compression LT1 with good heads puts down. Im using a combo thats been done atleast 1,000,000 other times. I used my motor as an example...

Yes you'll need to keep the 02's if your retaining the factory fuel injection. What year LT1 did you get?

thanks, it was running 8.30's in the 1/8th before I grenaded the stock motor hoping to see high 6's with this one. It would be even faster in a 3rd gen :)

Yep, IM REALLY REALLY SURE.

You will have wayy more than $1800 an LS1 to run with what ive built. Its not in the car yet so Im not going to start comparing it to built LS1's but youll be suprised.

That set up could be close to 400 rwhp depending on who did your tune. Thats enough power to go pretty fast. Trying to estimate 1/8 mile times really depends on how well you can drive, weight, rear...
