4th gen sending unit?

will it fit in a third gen tank? mostly asking about it fitting the hole in the tank I can modify the rest just wondering if it fits to the tank it self?

And same for the red wires they both go to the red wire from the box and the brown tach wire out of the box is not being used right now

It is hooked up so that the white wire from the harness and the white wire from the dizzy both go to the msd box's white wire like the diagram shows

Ok so my friend just got an 89 firebird 305 tpi auto. And I helped him swap intake runners on it everything is pluged back in the way it was and now the car won't start it ran fine the night before...

Ok so from reading the link and from what vetteoz said my understanding is that all I need to do is get any tpi intake and depending on the year might have to machine the center holes of the intake...

Ok so I can just take the slave and hook it to my master. And then with that lock out do I just have to splice wires together to get rid of it or is it somthing I have to take out of the transmission?

Yeah for the fuel I was going to use a return style regulator and hook the return line up to the sock return line from the tbi set up

it has vortec heads port and polished. Edelbrock performer intake comp cams 08-503-8 cam 10.5 to 1 compression

But the distributer wouldn't work if I left all of the other stuff pluged in and...
