a v6 rear end and a v8 rear end are going to have different gears, im not sure what the v8 gears are but their different than the v6 rear i call tell you that forsure
their is more redustion on a v8...

im thinking it might be the starter solenoid?
if jumping the starter works by linking the terminals, could that be a bad solenoid?

guess what? i jumped the starter by using a screwdriver to link both starter terminals togther...

car started right up :)

looks like i need a starter relay

not bad for a kid still in high...

tchernobog, is that the starter relay?

and travis the VATS module, if its bad, where do i get a new one? or is it even worth a new one if the bypass box is only 180$?

ok i think i found it ill try the jump tomorrow in the meantime, whats this black box? cuz everytime i turn the key to crank it clicks really loud, is this the starter relay?200008200009

I am having the same problem with my 89 RS, i did the resistor trick, still not starting, where is the start enable relay? how do u replace it?
cuz my car makes a loud click when i try to start it...

bypass didn't work, it was running on monday, i parked it in my driveway and it hasn't started since

There's a REALLY good tuning shop here in the springs, domestics only
its called rocky mountain competitive research, they have a dyno that maxes at over 1500hp!

they've worked on tons of cars...

ok so the orange casing for mine is coming from the steering column
and it leeds to a 2 wire connector with the 2 white wires
BUT
the connector leads to i beleive more wires then through the...

si i got resistors totaling 1470 ohms and i just did the resistor trick thing
