if it did, check to see if it came apart in the trainy end.
if it has not worked before, it looks like the bracket is not far enough back from the carb.
also, is the cable...

Re: Loose transmission crossmember problem

i have cut a hole on the inside big enough for a wrench, then put a nut on (i used duck tape to hold the nut to the wrench). it did not hurt the stuctural integrity of the frame.

Re: 700r4 only working in first and reverse

i would go with a th350. i have had nothing but badd luck with the 700r4's. i had a th400 setting around, so i used that, it is a lot more work then the th350 would be.

Re: 700R4 shifts hard into D and Reverse from Park

you might need a carb adjusting...

Re: Auto Transmission shifting Late/hard??

does it have a modulator on the pass side of the trainy? if it does, check the vaccume line (rubber ends). if they are connected and not cracked, the vaccume mod might be bad.

Re: Th400 parts list.

bad88_milldawg, look in the full size vans and the 95 and up 4x4 pickups. their driveshafts should be about the size you need. i took a 700r4 out and put in a th400 long output shaft in a 1500 extend...
