You probably need to relocate the starter solenoid. You can web-search the procedure. The part is readily available for about $12.

Not sure about '92, but the high-beam indicator on my '89 is a blue light, top of speedo face. The high beam switch is in the steering column; frankly (IMHO) a pain in the arse to access and adjust....

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I forgot to mention in original post that the headlights will do their flashing thing even w/vehicle stationary and engine off. Grrrr...

Back in October '11 I got some good advice on this board re: VATS issue. Nutshell: intermittent & maddening no-start, no-crank, no-noise, no-security light, no-nothing condition....

Hello! Sorry if this is a repeat of an old concern, but I'm new to this forum-stuff. I have an '89 RS 5.0L TBI w/approx 170K on it. There is a clacking/buzzing sound coming from the A/C compressor...
