Re: 1989 Camaro Iroc Z bolt on L98 vs 2005 Mustang GT

Hah, yea im an idiot. I didn't look to see the 05 is the first of the 300hp 5th gen mustangs. They run 13.8 stock, I thought or assumed rather it was the 260hp slug offered in 04 and earlier. I've...

Re: 1989 Camaro Iroc Z bolt on L98 vs 2005 Mustang GT

As long as its an 05 and not one of the new ones that have balls, its your win all day. Been in this exact race several times with my stock 91z 350 tpi and never lost. But don't give him an inch and...

Re: why do honda/import "tuner" people think their stuff is fast

This thread has provided hours of entertainment! I own a z28 and a 2011 rx8, (in my attempt to skirt the "rice" label with it being a rotary instead of a 4banger) to me both cars are extremely fun to...

Re: To coilover, or not to coilover, that is my question.

So basically what I'm getting is on these cars, coilovers are best used on a drag setup due to longer potential spring travel, but if one wants a corner carver (like myself) they would be best to...

Re: To coilover, or not to coilover, that is my question.

Thanks for the info guys, I thought clearance would be an issue, I'm soon to be doing a major overhaul on my 91(about 18k worth parts alone) didn't want to end up with any major parts conflicts. So...

To coilover, or not to coilover, that is my question.

Ok, been searching for hours now to no avail (think we need a sticky write-up on coilovers). BUT, here's my grand question. I'm not sure if I should go coilover on the front/rear for my build or not....

Re: 5.0 mustang vs 350 camaro

Lx 5.0 3.08 rear 5spd, he ran a best of 14.03 that night, as for his personal best I'm unaware of it. Side by side rundown of a typical pass. Me z28: 2.032 60' 5.919 330' 9.143 1/8 11.921 1000'...

Re: After 85 years of USA Made, Craftsman hand tools now Chinese

Wow, this is truely depressing. I've spent thousands on craftsman tools, as has my father. They do this and their warrenty becomes essentially invalid, "yea here we'll replace your quality american...
