lol foxbody = slowwww. i had one. all torque. it was like 175 hp 300 torque.good for off the line but after that say goodbye. i had heads intake gears and exhaust and a few more extras and an lt1...

i belive its the same bolt patern and will bolt on to your tranny. all the bolt patterns on those were the same just had fatures like a spot for the torque arm to fit any aplication it was going into.

hes right, that 700R4 should handle your motor no prob. its the same as the later auto tranny hooked up to the ls1 motor. the 4l60e and the 700R4 are essentially the same.

technically hes right. oil only gets past the seals when its cold and only a verry small amount. you can drive the car for the rest of its life and not worry about em. and no problem man.

Youll be fine. As the motor heats up the stems grow in the seals. And seal better. Youll be fine!

Good thing that pin failed. If the ignition kept the motor running you would of had a pretty nice knock on your hands.

i could be wrong but being that the shaft of that distributor come to a point almost like a flathead screwdriver, doesnt that mean the gear is down in the bolck and fits over the end of that...
