I went to check out a 85 camaro a guy had for sale he said the motor came out of a caprice. The code on the front is V0530cma and I couldn't really get the number off the back I think it was 507. It...

6" steel cowl hood for trade

yes i am confident in the block. its 60 over. its an already built block but from like 4 years ago. the whole problem is the machine shop by my house the guy said it will cost about 3,000 to rebuild...

well for this build i have the short block the 305 heads torker#1 manifold 600 edelbrock carb and a masd streetfire ignition setup. i was just wondering if there is a ideal cam setup for this setup...

engine build

so after alot of consideration i am giving my brother my 86 iroc-z28. it currently has no motor but it has a th350 with a b&m shift kit. so im gonna build him a motor using stuff i have lying around....

luckily for me its right up the road the only down fall for me is the people who get jobs at the part stores by me is they are there just for the job and dont know poop about cars

did not know that. so how do i know the difference? it only has the alt and ps pump so he doesnt need the serpentine belt.

behind the the flywheel is 207 and 509 and on both sides of the block is 207. other then that the pad on the front is bearly readable i think there is a 8 and t other then that nothing.

it is a 350 i got that info from the casting numbers on the heads. it has been bored out i know that much. but i was just curious as to what it came out of.

i know it doesnt help thats why i asked if anyone has seen a casting number like this before its a first for me. i know its a 350 from the info i got from the heads casting numbers.

thats not bad like i said b4 the only car that i have seen that sticks out majorly is mine and the wheel is half way past the fender. i think you can see it in this pic i have to get better ones and...

doesnt look bad at all but my rims and tires stick out a little more then yours but i have aftermarket rims. it does look good with the stock rims which what i was looking for.:thanks::thumbsup:

ok so i have a engine sitting in my shed that i bought for $100. i cant read the code off the back of the block or off the front pad. this is the only info i can obtain from the numbers off the heads...

not sure what the problem is i dont have custom made to order wheels or spacers and i havent had any problems. i have a set of cragar soft 8 wheels 17x9 front and back and i am fine

yeah the whole heating system is out. the only thing missing from the wipers is the wires. every thing else is there.

cheap engine harness

the motor in my firebird consists of 10066038 casting number block and 376450 for heads. its got a 280/289 Adv. Duration 450/474 Gross Lift cam with gear drive. 600cfm holley carb edelbrock manifold...
