yes i am confident in the block. its 60 over. its an already built block but from like 4 years ago. the whole problem is the machine shop by my house the guy said it will cost about 3,000 to rebuild...

engine build

so after alot of consideration i am giving my brother my 86 iroc-z28. it currently has no motor but it has a th350 with a b&m shift kit. so im gonna build him a motor using stuff i have lying around....

luckily for me its right up the road the only down fall for me is the people who get jobs at the part stores by me is they are there just for the job and dont know poop about cars

behind the the flywheel is 207 and 509 and on both sides of the block is 207. other then that the pad on the front is bearly readable i think there is a 8 and t other then that nothing.

it is a 350 i got that info from the casting numbers on the heads. it has been bored out i know that much. but i was just curious as to what it came out of.

i know it doesnt help thats why i asked if anyone has seen a casting number like this before its a first for me. i know its a 350 from the info i got from the heads casting numbers.

doesnt look bad at all but my rims and tires stick out a little more then yours but i have aftermarket rims. it does look good with the stock rims which what i was looking for.:thanks::thumbsup:

ok so i have a engine sitting in my shed that i bought for $100. i cant read the code off the back of the block or off the front pad. this is the only info i can obtain from the numbers off the heads...

not sure what the problem is i dont have custom made to order wheels or spacers and i havent had any problems. i have a set of cragar soft 8 wheels 17x9 front and back and i am fine
