More than likely GM unless you can find a used computer with the prom in it the you can use the whole computer but you will have to get a new key made with the same resistance as the used computer

When you get a new computer you have to change out the PROM (its the chip in the computer) So put the chip from the old one into the new computer and if it still will not run I would check into...

Well sounds like you have the same problem as me.Are the gauges jumping all over the place?If so i was told to look into getting a new computer.Now i can get mine to crank with a bypass wire but...

Well I have a 91 rs auto 305 tbi Camaro The car has sit for a few years it ran and drove when it was parked I got it out and put a brand new battery on it and new fuel pump and i turn the key over...
