Lt 1 swap exhaust

I have a 83 trans am with a 93 lt1 from a corvette going in. Problem is the exhaust manifolds are center dumps And will hit the crossmember. I want to keep the hookups to the exhaust that is dead...

Thanks a bunch. I will get this going. Take transmission to get cleaned up. Throw the lt1 in and start to wire. Goal is to have running by next summer. However lot of work to be done. I took the car...

I have a 1983 trans am with four wheel disc brakes. I think I found the ones I need but if you have the numbers that you used I can double check. I really appreciate both replies.

I need the driver parking brake cable and the short front brake cable that connects the two rear ones. Does anyone know where to get them. Does anyone have picture of how they connect to the caliper....

Does any one have a wiring diagram for the lock up electrical port on a 1993 corvette transmission? I got a setup motor and tranny out of a 1993 corvette. My original 700r4 is a 4 pin (only uses 3)...

so did you use the 5 pin connector so it matched the motor or how did you get around the different pin. Thanks for everyones help. I hate messing with transmissions because that is the part I know...

All right I will stay with the 700r4 and see if I can switch that electrical port on the drivers side from the corvette 700r4 to the firebird 700r4 that I have. I have three 700r4 anyways sitting...

I found a transmission out of a 1995 Z28. I have not seen it but that is a 4l60 right. With my Lt1 setup would this be a better option and work when my motor originally had a 700r4 in the corvette....

I also saw on the corvette transmission on the driver's side I have an electrical port that has a wire that goes to the LT1 and I think it was a 5 prong and on the 1983 700r4 the port is a 3 or 4...

Checked out and there isn't any spots for holes under the transmission. Still trying to figure out what transmission I need or can use.

I will look at the vette transmission again but i didn't see them. I need the mount right in front of the tailshaft. That would be great because the engine and transmission only had 30,000 miles on...
