Went out today and it started just fine ran rough for a min got it down to orielly and hooked up the scanner didnt read any codes dont know if the guy was a dumbass and just didnt know what he was...

its your own personal preference no one can make the decision for you as far as the 305 goes i wouldnt build it id just go with a 350 and if you do all the electrical right then you shouldnt have any...

if your looking for simple cheap and decent power id go with some vortec heads high rise intake carb nice cam and some headers should put you anywhere from 350-450hp depending on cam compression...

depends what your wanting it for id say go with the 350 ive never really heard of tbi for perfomance id go with a carb or maybe a tpi setup
