So my a/c was recharged and all the refrigerant leaked out within a month....I figured the compressor was leaking so I had the shop put dye in it and sure enough i was seeing bubbling green liquid...

Thanks Atilla. This gives me a good place to start. Now if and when I swap out the cams, are there other parts i should look into to supplement the cams or will they be good for a standalone swap?

Yeah I know a lot of people like to bypass or remove it in some form of fashion, however i am probably one of the few who actually want to keep it. I just need it workin properly.

For anyone wondering, yes the part # above is the correct one for an automatic. Has the VATS contacts and dummy keys.

Haha I agree but at this point its better than the torn up sun faded leather one I cureently have. Will still be looking for better aftermarket ones. Only problem is the whole button thing....

I see shifter knobs on the 2 sites and some of them have buttons. However I wonder if these buttons provide the same function as the OEM knob button? (black square button on top)
