i just got a oem ac delco replacement mech fuel pump... just make sure you have lots and lots of grease to hold the plunger in place cause its a bitch to pull back up into the correct position

shoot all ive done to mine was a full exhaust... shorty headers and straight pipes all the way back.. sounds great... drives like a stock 305 lol... but its a DD so i dont mind too much

i was having the same prob with mine... the carb was all gunked up and dirty so when i would tap the throttle to kick off the choke it wouldnt go because the linkage wasnt able to move do to all the...

dang eric they musta cleared it out... when i was there they had 8 third gens but all were nothing but shells... unless you wanted a v6 lol they had a couple of 4ths too but again were v6s

i got my exhaust done at morrison automotive... over on 78 next to the old merita bread store... kinda pricey but very well worth it... hes been mine and my folks mechanic since 2000

good luck at dons... unless you are looking for body panels or a v6 motor.. or maybe some glass... you arent gonna find ANYTHING for a 3rd gen... i been there and done that and they have maybe 5 or 6...
